The European Young Journalist Award 2010 has been launched and young journalists, aged 17-35, who are citizens of an EU member state, candidate country, potential candidate or Iceland can submit their entries until 28 February 2010. This year’s award is bigger and more enticing than past editions with 36 national prizes being awarded plus three Special Prizes for outstanding submissions. Each of the special prize winners will win a cultural trip to a European capital of their choice. Print, online and radio journalism reports that focus on EU Enlargement can be submitted by individuals or teams of up to three people. Enlarge your vision and make your voice heard about issues related to EU Enlargement. All submissions must be accompanied by a proof of publication or broadcast.
If you are a young print, online or radio journalist or journalism student then submit your entry by 28 February 2010.
The 2010 European Young Journalist Award is an initiative of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Enlargement.
